Giant’s Rest Competition Terms & Conditions
Promoter
The promoter is Giant’s Rest, 41 Islandarragh Road, Cape Castle, Ballycastle, BT54 6HS.
Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of the UK (excluding the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over.
Employees of Giant’s Rest and MX Brandcom Ltd, and their families, are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
To enter, comment “Giant’s Rest” on the competition post.
One entry is permitted per person, per platform, meaning a maximum of two entries can be made: one on Facebook and one on Instagram. Additional comments on the same platform will not count as additional entries.
Tagging friends is optional and does not count as an entry.
Closing Date
The competition closes at 11:59pm (UK time) on 30 October 2026. Entries received after this time will not be included.
Winner Selection & Notification
One winner will be selected at random from all valid Facebook and Instagram entries combined.
The winner will be contacted by direct message from our official account on the platform on which their winning entry was made, within 48 hours of the competition closing.
The winner must respond within 48 hours. If no response is received within this time, a new winner will be drawn.
We will never ask for payment or card details by direct message.
The Prize
The prize is one night in a pod of your choice at Giant’s Rest, Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, for up to 2 adults and 2 children.
The stay must be taken within six months, by 30 April 2027, and is subject to availability.
The following dates are excluded:
24, 25, 26 and 31 December 2026
1, 2 January, 14 February and 26,27, 28, 29 March 2027
Travel to and from Giant’s Rest, food, drink and any additional extras are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
The winner will be required to provide proof of age and address and a credit card as security against any damages when booking directly with Giant’s Rest.
Data Protection
Entrant data will only be used for the administration of this competition and will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
The winner’s surname and county/country will be available on request.
General
Giant’s Rest reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
Northern Ireland law applies, without affecting entrants’ rights under their local consumer law.
